ICSI
ICSI or Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection is an artificial fertilisation procedure ideal for couples seeking IVF due to disorders related to male infertility. It is used in cases of low sperm count or quality and decreased sperm mobility. It involves directly injecting sperm into ovum, followed by fertilisation procedure in a laboratory.
IUI
Intrauterine Insemination or IUI involves the direct placement of sperm into the uterus with the help of artificial means. Beneficial in cases of decreased sperm mobility, decreased cervical mucus or endometriosis, the procedure is done during the natural ovulation cycle of the woman.
