Infertility Treatments in Coimbatore

Infertility is the term refers to the inability of a woman to conceive naturally in a period of 18 months without using any contraception. Infertility is also called as the inability to carry a full term pregnancy.

IUI - Intrauterine Insemination

IUI or Intrauterine Insemination is a fertility treatment which involves placing sperm inside a woman's uterus for easy fertilization. The main aim of this procedure is that to increase the number of sperm which enters into the fallopian tube, by this fertilization will occur easily. IUI is needed when sperm count is low or or decreased sperm mobility. Couples choose IUI treatment when they have unexplained infertility, including cervical mucus problems, Ejaculation dysfunction etc. IUI is not recommended for women who have fallopian tube disease, women with pelvic infections.

The semen sample will be wash to separate semen from semen fluid. The washed sperm directly insert into the uterus. This process increase the number of sperm cells that are entered in the uterus.
